Oriented Strand Board also known as OSB. Layers of wood flakes set within a glue-like resin, compressed into a solid sheet. Common in sheds.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Hasp and Staple
A steel hasp and staple is used to secure wooden gates. Interlocked when closed and securable by a padlock (not supplied). Style can vary.
Description
The Shire Shiplap Pent Bike Store is perfect for storing 1-2 adult bicycles.
The wide double door access has a low clearance, so it should be placed on concrete or level paving slabs. The shiplap tongue and groove cladding on the walls is tough and durable. The roof is made from solid sheet OSB boards and mineralized felt is provided to cover the roof.
There is no floor with this product by design. It is unlikely that the store will be lifted by a would-be thief, however you may wish to anchor the building to your base for extra protection.
Full instructions will be supplied upon delivery, along with all the fixtures and fittings needed to install the building.

I purchased this item to use as a bin store. This fits two wheelie bins in quite comfortably with a couple of feet space. Main reason being the price was a lot cheaper and bins are completely enclosed inside. Pretty straight forward to put together in a steady afternoon and managed to do on my own. Diagrams a little vague in parts but having put two similar up before easy enough to work out. Would recommend item,delivery and communication accurate.

Quality is generally ok but didn't come pre-drilled and the construction of the roof isn't the best structure but these weren't major drawbacks that I couldn't overcome. Everyone with basic DIY skills, tools and some extra pieces of wood cannot mitigate. Price was reasonable as well. Overall I'm happy with the product.

I am afraid I am disappointed with this product. Because there is no floor I found it very difficult to square it up for the doors to fit correctly, it is far too unstable. The framework is not sturdy enough. Also I had to purchase another bolt as again the bolts are too flimsy and one of them broke in my hand. Very poor value for the price I paid.

Generally good. Delivered in parts ready for assembly. Base, walls and roof straightforward but then the instructions diverge from reality. The recommended way of fixing the felt to the roof simply wouldn't work and the door panels appear to have been made differently to those pictured. With a bit of creativity we got around the challenges and we're pretty pleased with the finished result. Not sure if the wood is treated but the instructions recommend treating before assembly then again after 3 weeks so be sure to allow extra time for this. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Yes, the product is supplied dipped treated, offering initial protection through to supply)

The doors become significantly misaligned if you move the bike shed even a small amount of space (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: The door misalignment is not a fault, as it's being caused by the lack of a fully level and solid base. The support rails are therefore floating and so 'twisting' to seek solid support on any movement, thus the doors will become vertically offset by this twisting action. Once the base is levelled and the lowest railed framing fully supported as intended, the issue will no longer exist).

The idea of 2 men erecting it in 2-3 hours left me feeling inadequate. Also slight changes (4 pieces not 2 in the instructions) made putting together a bit of guesswork. But once up - excellent.
