Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Pressure Treatment
Wood is placed into an airtight tank, by vacuum the air is replaced with preservative. This superior process extends lifespan allowing in-ground use.
Shiplap Tongue & Groove
A tongue & groove boarding offering a smooth planed finish. Each upper face is shaped with a shallow curve to offer a shiplap, overlapping appearance.
Trellis
An open cladding formed from timber rails or battens fixed to one another, in a spaced diagonal or square arrangement. Ideal for decorative purposes.
Description
The Shire Rose Arbour is an attractive bench-seated arbour, complete with diamond trellis side and rear panels. The structure is freestanding but can also be set against a wall or a fence.
The main panels and roof of the arbour are made from tongue and groove boards on a 34x34mm framing for added strength. Full instructions will be supplied upon delivery, along with all the fixtures and fittings needed to install the arbour.

It's like building it inside out, what I thought was the outside was the inside. The roof was tricky to get on square over the trellis, but if you follow the instructions step by step the finished Rose Arbour is a strong construction. It took about 6 hours to make. The screws were the right length and plenty of them, nothing else to buy. We have painted it Seagrass and is standing in the corner of our Garden. We are well pleased with this product, hence the 5 stars.

Read instructions (been reading/writing work instructions and eng'g drawings 50 years) kept seeing contradictions in plan view, when I started, it was obvious that someone had fitted the lattice 'windows' preventing st1 of assy being completed, however I sorted out an alternative assy method and built it successfully by ignoring the instructions other than seeing the assy grow as per picture. Turned out well with a few minor alterations and some sanding/painting. Overall a sturdy, cost effective unit that looks great. Only comment, the sketchy instructions need proper review and correct orientation shown. Wife was pleased in the end great value (lost 1 star for instructions being poor)

Some nails were left protruding (positioned wrong). Knot hole on edge of front seat plank (it could have been turned or reversed). Difficult to screw top of side panels as side openings already fixed. Just a bit of extra care would have made this a five star product.
