Description
The Zest Cambrian Arch is the 'little sister' of the Moonlight Arch. This pressure treated arbour offers incredible value at below £100, including delivery too*.
Featuring a gently curving 'roof' formed from a pair of curved joists, which soundly support a set of straight rafters. Each side elevation is clad with a 1400 x 350 x 30mm square trellis section suitable for climbing plant support, set between a pair of chunky 45 x 60mm wooden uprights/posts.
All of the timber components are pressure treated to provide a longer life and offer resistance against rot. Supplied in a contemporary planed finish.
The Zest Cambrian Arch has an overall width (at the roof joist) of 1.34m (4ft 5in), however the width of the arch aperture itself (between the sides) can be adjusted on assembly to suit your garden. The maximum internal aperture width achievable is 1.2m (4ft) between the upright posts.
The Zest Cambrian Arch is designed as a free standing wooden structure and therefore ground fixings are not supplied with this arch.

The arch was delayed by courier and turned up damaged and missing parts. Rang one garden and everything was resolved really quickly. Their customer service was excellent and so helpful and friendly. The arch itself was good quality and well worth the money. I haven’t put it up yet as I’m waiting till the spring, but I’m happy with my purchase. Many thanks

Rather tricky to put together - definitely needed the two of us! However, now it's done and put into position, it looks fantastic (and the additional ground spikes work really well - it's extremely stable) We're very pleased (would purchase again in the future - though would appreciate it if if it could be made to put together more easily!)

Easy to put up but needs two to stand it or the legs complain! I used offcuts of wood to support inside of arch just in case. Will be buying more as my garden renovation progresses. Service and delivery top notch.

Overall a very good product. Unfortunately one of the slats had been broken although a sort of splint had been added’ however i did not use it. Clearly it needs two people to assemble and erect but i did it on my own with some difficulty! It has been much admired and i would certainly recommend it.

Really pleased with product well made and reasonably easy to assemble but two people required as it is heavy would suggest some slightly longer screw but overall would recommend and good value

Saturday 27th June 2020
Positives: good quality wood creating an attractive sturdy finished arch. Negatives: Poor instructions, would definitely not follow in order suggested. Fixing trellis into legs of arch before fitting legs is much easier. Also had to use my own 3 inch screws to attach trellis as suggested method of screwing at an angle makes for a very weak joint. Also some pre drilled holed would be good. Summarry: if you a quite handy and have some spare screws you get a good end product but for sake of an ha'porth of tar could have been 5 stars

Beautiful looking archway purchased with the metal stakes which proved very useful for securing the arch on our uneven lawn. Some of the wooden parts were a little twisted but we managed to put the arch together OK by swapping the vertical supports to correct the effect of the twisting.

Saturday 04th April 2020
My only quibble is that the stakes i purchased from you are not are not strong enough for the job. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: The basic post fix kit is designed to prevent lateral shift, at only £9.99 per set of 4. These are not a substitute for post sockets for example, if these were your preference, as such would cost greater per post than the set in question, being uneconomic on such a low cost arch.)

Saturday 28th March 2020
Excellent product. Perfect height and so easy to put together. Word of advice however, use a good quality cordless drill to screw in screws. Metal leg supports great too but use a soft tool to punch down and affix to the four legs. Don’t fix these to the posts and then try to force down into the ground. Build the arch, position it where you want it and then force down the metal supports up close and screw in.

We received this item as a Christmas present, and managed to erect it shortly afterwards. Seems OK in situ, following installation, fair number of screws, one or two which didn't go home too well. Managed to use the pins supplied as an extra to stabilise it in the ground, did not concrete it in. It does seems a little bit on the flimsy side but time will tell.

I am sorry to say that I am rather disappointed with this arch. It was hard work to put it together and nigh on impossible to get it straight (also it did not have enough of the right length screws). Also it is not very tall once sunk into the ground. I have another arch from the same supplier which is excellent but I made a bad choice with this one.

I bought two Cambrian Arches and am delighted with how they look - they provide an interesting focus in two different parts of my garden... looking forward to them being 'clothed' in roses and clematis. The product is excellent... the delivery via carrier was not so good... however that is not the fault of the company and the team at one garden who did their best to sort the problem

Friday 24th May 2019
Loved the arch - once it was erected. Not an easy or straightforward assembly. No pre drilled holes at all, attachment of trellis to uprights needed a complete rethink before attempting. The arch and trellis were of acceptable quality wood - the uprights were not. These pillars were not straight twisting and warping both evident and made final assemble and placement of the completed arch a bit problematic. You need to be an experienced woodworker to deal with this product. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Thank you for your feedback. Being of a screwed assembly only, so no cutting required, being an "experienced woodworker" is not a necessity. In common with most wooden garden products, bolt holes are pre-drilled whereas pilot holes for screws are not; as the instructions detail. It is good practice once in-situ to always pilot any screw hole, by 3mm drill or bradawl, to aid screw direction and reduce potential splitting. The trellis you screw at an angle, as the battens would naturally restrict an in-line input. External pressure treated timbers are prone to movement due to moisture content fluctuation. We are sorry to hear that your "pillars" showed excessive movement, as these could have been replaced pre-install if reported. We're pleased you love this arch, just as many others have too!)

This was a replacement for a traditional log style arch. I found this easy to assemble as long as you take the time to make sure everything is evenly spaced. The design is strong and I feel will last longer than my previous arch. The treated wood is good quality.I insered the legs in metal post and then put some concrete in the post to keep out water and stop any movement.

Looks beautiful, easy to erect with two people and really good value with free delivery too. I’ve grown 2 clematis over mine. What’s not to like!
