Shiplap Tongue & Groove
A tongue & groove boarding offering a smooth planed finish. Each upper face is shaped with a shallow curve to offer a shiplap, overlapping appearance.
OSB (Oriented Strand Board)
Oriented Strand Board also known as OSB. Layers of wood flakes set within a glue-like resin, compressed into a solid sheet. Common in sheds.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.
Roller Catch
A simple, push-to-close door retaining catch. Often used on wooden playhouses as a non-locking safety feature. Style and design may vary by product.
Description
The Shire Bunny Playhouse offers a classic playhouse design, yet it is formed using modern manufacturing practices.
The tongue and groove wall cladding is strong and hardwearing. The window and door include safety hinges to prevent little fingers from becoming trapped. The window glazing is a safety styrene, which will not shatter like glass when broken.
This Bunny wooden playhouse will be supplied dip-treated and ready to be painted by you (if you wish) in whatever imaginative colour scheme you choose.
Full instructions are provided on delivery, along with any fixtures and fittings required for installation.

The only thing we are disappointed with is the window glazing, all of which cracked within the first couple of days of use. If you could send us some replacement we would be very grateful! Door catch was not good so we had to put another one on. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: For EN71 Child Safety a catch must be non-locking to prevent a young child becoming trapped. Playhouse catches therefore take a basic form such as a simple magnetic catch. In this instance a roller catch is used).
