The Zest Snowdon Obelisk is delivered from central UK stocks held by Zest 4 Leisure. Depending on product size, one of two established carriers will undertake home delivery.

Typically, a 7.5 ton lorry will deliver. This will reach most locations an average car can. On occasion, a smaller 3.5 ton vehicle may be used for smaller items.

Unloading will take place at the kerb-side or onto your adjacent driveway. Vehicles will not leave the public highway. A driver may be willing to carry the goods into your garden at their own discretion. Goods cannot be carried through your home, therefore if necessary please arrange some extra help privately.

Free Delivery

This product benefits from a free delivery service within mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland. The above postcode checker will confirm this for you.

Delivery Period

Delivery will typically be made within the period quoted on this product. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For smaller products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a reference to allow online tracking.

Extended Delivery

Less frequently serviced locations may be subject to an extended delivery period of up to an additional 7 days. These distant locations include the Scottish Highlands.

Offshore Delivery

Zest4Leisure deliver across mainland Great Britain. Therefore, for this product we are unable to service; Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and all of the Scottish Islands.

    Tuesday 11th May 2021

Well packaged, though a few pieces slightly damaged. Easy to put together, but rather crude in manufactures finish. I painted it before assembly, which hides any defects. Good height and proportions. Expensive for what you get, will last a few years.

Good quality. Sturdy construction. Maybe be beneficial to include stakes for securing the obelisk to the ground. If not recommendations on securing to the soil.

Great product delivered before expected date which was great painted before putting it together. Simple to construct, just have to wait for the plants to fill it now

This obelisk is sturdy and tall. The problem is finding a way to fix it into the ground securely especially in the recent windy weather. We are still trying to decide whether to remove the bottom cross pieces and dig the legs deep into the ground or to get hooks like tent pegs to fix them in place. Also some of the nails provided to put the obelisk together were too short.

Comes as a flat-pack and ours arrived with a damaged piece. This was swiftly and efficiently replaced by the manufacturer and my husband, a basic DIY worker, built them without difficulty. He painted them first, before assembly, with outdoor wood paint and they are quite lovely!! Larger and more substantial than we feared they might turn out to be, they look great. It just remains to see if they last a while.

Great product. This is the second one I ordered. To prolong its life I fitted some thicker extensions to the bottom that I converted into the ground

Bought as a gift, but with a sudden glitch in the system it went through twice. The live chat service was fantastic, instant confirmation of order refund. Delivery was given as 7-10 days but arrived in 3, although recipient received notification a day earlier which led to some confusion. Still, very impressed by service, excellent product, would buy again.

Its lest robust than appear in the photos but it does look lovely assembled. If you are planning on painting it, I would recommend doing so before you assemble and defiantly drill before you screw it together.

I now have 4 of these obelisks and they have proved to be excellent for growing and supporting clematis plants. I also intend to try 2 of them as runner bean supports this year.

    Tuesday 07th April 2020

Very happy with it and want to buy a second one when production starts again. Easy to put together by one person using a wheelie bin for support! Instructions refer to pre-drilled holes which were not there but probably better you drill your own anyway to get them exactly right. Would happily paid a little more for slightly more substantial wood but sturdy anyway. To protect the bottom I fixed short sacrificial legs to concrete into the ground (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: The "pre-drilled holes" reference on the instructions relates to those created by the customer, therefore you were correct to create these during the build process as directed.)

    Sunday 22nd September 2019

I bought 2 x 6 ft obelisks, they are very thin and there are no instructions apart from leaving them for one month before using. I did phone and spoke to a gentleman who didnít know if the earth would rot the legs. We used cable ties to hold the sides together and give stability as well as the screws. I am not recommending this product. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Thank you for your review, we regret to hear this item failed to satisfy you. In response and to address your concerns; (1) the instructions were received by you (as the "one month" statement you mention is stated on them), (2) you can use the product on receipt, the "leaving for one month" reference relates to not re-treating for the first month to allow the pressure treatment to season/settle, (3) we have no call recorded, however the item should be stood onto earth, if you sink it into the ground even pressure treated timber will eventually degrade/rot, (4) we feel the fixing method is appropriate and would not recommend cable tie use.)

Great value for money garden obelisk; looks good, very sturdy and easy to assemble. Just what i needed for holding up a perennial sweetpea that was about to take over my garden.

Very pleased with this product. It is exactly as described. It was straightforward to assemble. The hardest part was getting it level.

  • 5 out of 5   , South Manchester.

    Monday 25th March 2019

The obelisk arrived very quickly. It is excellent quality - very sturdy and well made. Very easy to build up - takes about 20 minutes. All you have to do is drill 12 small pilot holes, screw the four sides together and then fit the top with four more screws (all provided along with easy instructions). I would not hesitate in buying another one - good value for money - much better value than buying at local garden centres.

  • 4 out of 5   , Gloucestershire.

    Saturday 16th March 2019

Purchased 2 Zest Snowdon Obelisks, they were delivered at the correct time. They do seem flimsy compared to the photo online, just hope they stand the test of time.

  • 5 out of 5   , South Manchester.

    Thursday 28th February 2019

Ordered the Zest Snowdon Obelisk which arrived in only two days. Very sturdy construction and good value for money. Easy to build. The only thing you have to do is drill 16 pilot holes for screws (which are provided) and then put it together - a job well within the capabilities of all handymen/women. No hesitation in recommending it.

Smart, sturdy & practical. A real feature in the garden, adding height & interest.

  • 4 out of 5   , Suffolk.

    Saturday 15th December 2018

Was not as robust as it looked in the picture, so only time will tell as to how well it stands up to the rigours of holding up a hefty clematis. Otherwise, it went together well and looks good in position.

  • 2 out of 5   , Uk.

    Thursday 09th August 2018

After a promised delivery date that did not happen I cancelled the order. They then made a phone call asking if I would again like to reorder the item with the promise that it would be delivered on the stated date that they said, it was this time, but not the best experience I have had with a web site. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Thank you for your feedback, we're pleased you received the obelisk when expected. Apologies once again for the initial failure due to an unforeseen dispatch issue at the manufacturer; hence why we called to arrange the re-order once Zest had resolved availability.)

  • 5 out of 5   , Blackpool.

    Sunday 22nd April 2018

I bought 2 of these as ornamental supports for runner beans and sweet peas. I am pleased with my purchase - they look nice and seem strong enough for the job. The instructions say that 2 people are needed for assembly. That would help for the first fixing but not necessary after that - I actually had no difficulty assembling by myself on a firm, level base. The wood into which the screws are fixed is quite narrow so I was a bit worried that it would split. I think it is important to drill pilot holes as specified in the instructions. Doing that I had no problem with splitting, so no problems in assembly.
