A simple cladding method where square-cut boarding is secured in a solid butted or open slatted format to a parallel arrangement.
The Zest Log Chest is a 6ft wide, fully enclosed wooden chest for storing and drying logs.
Constructed of pressure treated, square-edged boards with airflow gaps to encourage the drying of the logs stored within.
The hinged lid is made of overlapping featheredge boards in order to protect the contents from the elements.
The Zest Log Chest is delivered from central UK stocks held by Zest. Depending on product size, one of two established carriers will undertake home delivery.

A driver may be willing to carry the goods into your garden at their own discretion. Goods cannot be carried through your home, therefore if necessary please arrange some extra help privately.

Happy with this log chest nice, sturdy and looks good. Was relatively easy to put together as well. My one slight niggle is it doesn’t have any chains to hold the top open. This wouldn’t stop me from buying it though.

The quality of the design and materials was excellent, although the top seems a little thin. it came in packs that were very heavy, so you should be prepared to open them and split the contents prior to relocating them from the drop off point near the pavement. Also, i found no predrilled or premarked locations for where to put he screws and the diagrams were just about adequate - a little more detail would have been helpful. Improvement of these 2 aspects could have reduced the construction time. All told though I am very happy with it.

This is an excellent product. It was delivered as a flat pack, well protected, with instructions for assembly. It went together easily and is a high quality construction. Most impressed.

On the whole I am pleased with the log chest however there are a couple of points to be aware of when purchasing. In my case there were no pre-drilled screw holes despite the instructions saying there were. If you have a powered screwdriver then the supplied screws will drill through where the holes should have been quite easily, however if you only have a manual screwdriver then you will need to drill the holes yourself. Secondly there is no support for the lid which means you need to be able to have some way to prop it open. If there is space behind then it will open fully backwards but this may put a strain on the hinges otherwise you need to use one hand to load/unload while holding the lid with the other hand. The manufacturers should consider adding some way to prop open the lid. I managed to fashion a method using a gardening support pole fairly easily but for the price it should really be included.
