Overview

The Palram - Canopia Skylight Amber Plastic Shed 6x5 is delivered from central UK stocks held by Palram. In most cases, only a 'small' 1-man delivery is necessary, undertaken by one of two established parcel carriers; TNT & DX. For bulkier items, a 'large' 2-man specialised carrier (Panther) is required.

Vehicle

Typically a rigid vehicle, up to a 7.5 ton lorry will deliver. This will reach most locations an average car can. A van-sized vehicle is likely for smaller goods.

Access

Unloading will take place at the kerb-side or onto your adjacent driveway. Vehicles will not leave the public highway. A driver may be willing to carry the goods into your garden at their own discretion. Goods cannot be carried through your home, therefore if necessary please arrange some extra help privately.

Free Delivery

This product benefits from a free delivery service within mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland. The above postcode checker will confirm this for you.

Delivery Period

Delivery will typically be made within the period quoted on this product. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For smaller products, a delivery date will be provided by email/text from the carrier, which will include a reference to allow online tracking.

Extended Delivery

Less frequently serviced locations may be subject to an extended delivery period of up to an additional 7 days. These distant locations include the Scottish Highlands and offshore regions.

Offshore Delivery

In addition to mainland Great Britain, Palram also deliver offshore to the Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man. Unfortunately, there is no service to Northern Ireland.

Distant Surcharge

Due to additional delivery zone fees, certain distant and offshore locations can only be serviced at a distant surcharge (at cost). The above post code checker can confirm if a surcharge will apply.

Product Notes

Where a solid base (paving, concrete etc) is required, Palram - Canopia recommend that this should be 10% larger than the product itself. This allows additional support and distance to prevent any drilled fixings from 'blowing' your base edge. Our suggested base size measurements therefore include a +10% allowance to the product's width and depth, to reflect Palram - Canopia's guidance.

Even though this plastic shed is supplied with a floor, you'll still need to place it upon a firm area for support. You should provide a level concrete or paving slab base ideally, even a solidly supported wooden decked area will do.
