Folded Edge

Rust Free Screws

Description
The Yardmaster 86WGL apex shed is the smallest member of the attractive Yardmaster Woodgrain Shiplap WGL range of quality metal sheds.
This metal shed benefits from standard features which include rust-free screws, a ventilated and high-gabled profiled roof and free anchor bolt fixings; to secure the shed to your concrete or paved solid base. In addition, the WGL range also gain the unique benefits of a full 6' eaves height and a woodrain-effect shiplap profile wall cladding. The double door is of the sliding variety, being complete with handles holed to accept a customer-supplied padlock and an overlapping feature to keep the weather out.
This 86WGL apex metal shed is supplied in a two-tone brown finish as part of the 7-layer anti-corrosion protection process offered by Yardmaster across their range of quality hot-dipped galvanized buildings. The shiplap-style profiled cladding adds a traditional touch, whilst remaining thicker and harder to dent than other thin-gauge metal garden sheds. Complete with folded edges for a safer assembly.
Supplied with a DIY assembly manual, the flat-pack components are clearly numbered for self-assembly. A common installation involves screwing the pre-holed metal profiled sheeting to a skeleton-style framework, complete with a base rail.

Very happy with quality of shed. Is waterproof. But, would recommend manufacturers give more detailed instructions for constructing (not everyone has internet connection). Had major problems with putting the roof on, Instructions were very vague and I had to get 3 neighbours to help me lift it on several times until we considered it was in the correct position. Took an entire day just to assemble framework as nothing was labelled. Just pictures.

The shiplap metal shed in woodgrain is super smart and based on looks it surpasses any wooden shed I have ever had in the past. It was difficult to erect (especially as I am v short). The instructions were not easy to follow and a description on the procedure would certainly assist the diagrams. I am disappointed that the shed does not have the function to hold bracket/racks for you to hang tools from. Overall, I am pleased with the shed, but I feel it could be slightly improved upon.

Love my new shed. Yes its fiddly and took a full day to put up. Lots of screws and bits but everything was there. As long as you read the instructions and set everything out you can erect it easily. You will need 2 people to erect this shed. All in all very good value for money. A sturdy shed once erected and put up correctly.

Very happy with the shed, had lots of complimentary comments. There were one or two scratches on the wall sheets but was able to position those at the back, could may be have done with some packing between them rather than stacking inside each other. One Garden were brilliant, updates and communication were faultless. Yardmaster not so good as shed turned up without warning despite them supposed to give notification when it would be delivered. Also just be wary regarding Yardmasters guarantee; it is hidden away in the middle of the instruction booklet, as you are meant to send it in within 21 days of purchase, as my shed arrived without notice I did not have the base prepared and the boxes sat in my garage for several weeks unopened!

Very happy with my new shed. The service was very good with delivery on time. Friendly driver who placed the boxes where needed. Took two days to put up but it does need further work to make the base water resistant. Read the instructions carefully as this will save redoing some of the work. I assumed there would be some hanging accessories but there were none, but still very happy with my new shed. Looks very nice once put up. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Thanks for the feedback. In our memory Yardmaster have never included any integral hanging accessories, but this is a point we shall certainly mention to them).

Seems a very solid and stable shed but only time will tell. The instruction manual is very comprehensive, but assembly is a lengthy process and definitely requires two people. The exterior paint finish on several of the panels had scratches when we removed them from the box so the packaging material/process is clearly inadequate. Insufficient washers were provided to fulfil the assembly directions. Each part is numbered with a sticky label which is very helpful but would suggest the labels are attached to the interior rather than the exterior face of the panels which would save having to remove them all after completion.
