Mineralized Roofing Felt

Description
The Shire Haddon Summerhouse is made from tongue and groove boards and comes delivered in full panels for ease of installation.
The roof is made from a solid sheet OSB and the building kit comes complete with mineralized felt to cover the roof.
The doors are half-glazed to match the surrounding walls and allow in the most of the available sunlight, even with the doors fully opened.
All necessary fixtures and fittings come with the delivery, as does a full set of instructions.

Nice summer house and reasonably well made bearing in mind the price paid. Gave it two coats of good quality treatment before assembly as recommended. As a competent DIYer with good tools it took a couple of days to assemble using silicone sealent in all joints. Added a 12mm square strip of wood to the threshold otherwise there is a big gap between the doors and floor and fitted a rim lock instead of the gate latch. It's been subjected to a fair bit of rain including some heavy storms and its bone dry inside.

The product itself is average, i expected it to be a bit of better quality wood and more air tight, the wood is full of holes, especially where the branches are, so summer house is full of airing gaps. Also the panels when screwed together still leave plenty of air gaps. Manual provided and building/assembly is relatively straight forward.

For the price this is a good summerhouse - well built, not flimsy. Anything that has a floor made from floorboards rather than composite board is providing a sign that it is better constructed, and this one does not disappoint. It looks nice as well, a proper summerhouse design to it and it looks great in our garden. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars was that the finish on the prerservative stain was poor, with lots of white patches where it had not been treated. However, most people, including us, will re-stain it or paint it anyway so that doesn't really matter unless you plan to leave it untouched. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase.

Final product very acceptable but the company did not make it easy for me by supplying the kit soaked through, so I had to dry it out before being able to apply wood preserver. Price good at £350, considerably more from some other outlets. Delivery man prompt and helpful and carried the goods through to my back garden for me. Glass better quality than expected. Overall effect when finished very pleasing.
