Description
Constructed entirely from smooth planed 12mm tongue and groove boarding, the Shire Buckingham Summerhouse would make a stylish addition to any garden.
The walls, floor and roof are therefore all quality tongue and groove clad. Mineralized felt is provided to cover the roof and full instructions, fixtures and fittings are supplied as standard.
As with many of the Shire modular garden buildings, the windowed panel may be placed in a number of locations around this summerhouse when installing.

Fantastic, we have completed the build and everything went together as it should apart from the roof. Units that need cutting should be cut in factory before delivery, not by the customer! And apart from having to buy to pieces of wood to finish the trim on the felted roof a great build, you pay for quality !

Great value summer house. Quality of materials is very good. Instructions are clear, making it straight forward to build. Extra screws and nails provided in case of loss or damage. My only issue was that the roof tacks weren’t very effective, so I used heavy duty staples to attach the roof felt.

The ordering and delivery process went very smoothly and the Summerhouse construction was straightforward whilst following the supplied instructions. I have only given four stars because several of the nails in the side panels were misaligned and needed knocking back. One resulted in a broken pane of glass so the advice is to check all frames before pinning in. The doors don’t meet very well and will need further adjustment but nothing someone with basic DIY skills can do. The two small fascia diamonds where missing from the delivery but this was resolved quickly and the replacements parts posted out to us. All in all a very nice Summerhouse and very good service from One Garden and Shire.

Excellent summerhouse, great design, easy to assemble, quality wood, looks amazing. Can be improved by attaching a join across the wooden floor and by using silicone rather than panel pins. Remember when fitting to measure the doors as this is the only tricky part

Excellent delivery service. The summer house is well made with t & g timber floor and roof. The timber is treated but still requires 3 coats of preservative or paint. The instructions are good and assembly is fairly easy with 2 people. There was some warping of the panels and doors. The panel straightened on assembly but the door was more of a problem. The supplied latch is poor and I fitted locks at the top and bottom of the door. The side window opens and glass is supplied for both the window and doors. Overall a good product and with a bit of sanding of the window and doors prior to painting you will have a beautiful summer house. Overall a good product

Regarding the wooden beading for the window panels, we were 6 pieces short and the door handle did not work properly. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Apologies for the partially missing beading, although the handle issue is an odd one as the device is a simple one. Replacements for both are being sent as per your earlier email request of today.)
