10 Year Anti-Rot Warranty
An assurance from the manufacturer that their timber product, if maintained according to their policy, will resist rot within a 10 year period.
Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Pressure Treatment
Wood is placed into an airtight tank, by vacuum the air is replaced with preservative. This superior process extends lifespan allowing in-ground use.
Square Edge
A simple cladding method where square-cut boarding is secured in a solid butted or open slatted format to a parallel arrangement.
Description
The Zest Emily Table is a classic square edged design with H-shaped bracing between the legs.
It is made from pressure treated timber for a longer lifespan.
The tabletop is made from lengths of 30mm thick timber.

The table is well designed and well made but with one exception. The wood from which is it made has not been dried properly, so there are cracks in two of the planks which form the table surface, which I will need to fill to protect them from rain.

I had already purchased the Emily chair for my elderly parents as they have recently moved from an apartment to a house and they have a garden for the first time. The table was for their Diamond wedding anniversary. It was perfect! The table is incredibly sturdy and the perfect size. The delivery was very efficient and the driver helped me to load the table in to the back of my car for me to take to my parents as their surprise present. Although it was October, we set it up & celebrated with champagne in the garden. As it is already treated, we won't have to do anything with it for the next 12 months or so. Although there were already natural splits in the wood, I am sure it won't detract from the performance. The Emily Collection is a fantastic range. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Looks good and sturdy but I was disappointed when I found it moves on the joints or wobbles when pushed against its length. Some of the panels of wood have splits in so I expect it will weather badly over the winter with rain, snow and ice which will open the splits further. The wood has quite a rough finish in parts and needs sanding so as not the get splinters to the touch or to snag clothing. Easy to assemble.

Good strong table. Self build, easy to follow instructions but unfortunately holes drilled to fix leg supports were incorrectly positioned, requiring new holes to be drilled out.
