Description
The Shire Corner Arbour, as the name suggests, is designed to be situated in the corner of a garden.
High quality, smooth finish tongue and groove cladding is applied to the walls and roof. The roof and window aperture styling have an oriental feel about them.
Simple to install, full instructions will be supplied upon delivery, along with all the fixtures and fittings needed to build the arbour.

Delivery was great and driver unloaded it to where I wanted. One of the legs had large fault and poor quality. The driver photographed it and made a note and suggested I give them a call. I did and a replacement part came within 2 days. Really good service. Having checked the parts later I was a little disappointed in the quality of the finish. Lots of parts had a "Sawn" finish, not planned as I expected. The result was a lot of sanding which still didn't result in a great surface to paint. Considering It was supposed to be checked twice before delivery I wonder if mine had been missed. I could have complained but felt I would only get a similar outcome. I took a couple of days to paint it, giving it 3 coats of Cuprinol Garden shades in cream and grey. Assembly was straight forward doing most of it singe handed with some help needed for the roof. The instructions were very good and the correct number of screws etc were included. I am very pleased with the end result, just a little disappointed in the quality of the finished wood. Just to add that after completing it the price had reduced by £100, so a further disappointment for me but a bargain for anyone buying it now.

The arbour seat is a beautiful, well-made product and has been a welcome addition to our garden, complementing it perfectly. It’s assembly was as described, taking two people and about 3-4 hours in total. The only point that I think could be improved on is the rough edges of wood around the two diamond-shaped windows. I would have liked these to have been sanded down (which I’ve now done), mainly because my baby grandson likes to be held so he can look through, meaning his chin is near sharp splinters of wood on the edge. In addition, we added an extra support under the centre of the seat (there is no leg here), as we felt there was far less support in the middle than at each side, though other people might think it unnecessary. In all, we are thrilled with the seat and think it has been good value for money. I would readily recommend it to others.
