  A bit too short once it's posted I to the ground! We had to modify ours to make it taller or my dad wouldn't have been able to get under it without hitting his head.   Having read some of the reviews I was a little uncertain but, on arrival, the arch was well wrapped and, using both the written/illustrated instructions plus the very useful animated video (QR code on a label on the arch) I soon had the holes drilled the screws screwed and the arch assembled. We are very happy with the end result - I mounted the arch on decking and have a love seat under the arch. In addition I have planted some sweet smelling honeysuckle on either side of the arch so that they will grow up and through the lattice panels, providing interest, scents and cover, as they grow over the top.

  We already had a Twilight arch which we use to separate off one part of the garden. I decided to put in another about six feet in front so as to make a walkway through and they look very effective. We used meta posts for the posts as otherwise it would be too short to walk through. We put the arch together and then once in position we put in the trellis joining it to the frame with batons across. Attaching the trellis is awkward and this is why it has 4 stars otherwise 5/5.

  Initially I was very pleased with the arch, it was exactly as described on your website and had a very robust feel about it. However, the advertised angled ground supports which I purchased at the same time are not at all suitable to support such a heavy structure. What I did find is that the 75mm Metpost type of product was much better and holds the post firmly into the ground. One of the posts is heavily knotted and has warped quite badly which is distorting and twisting the whole arch. Is it possible for you to send me a replacement post please? (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Thank you for the feedback. The Zest ground support set is a basic, economy kit offering excellent value at under £10 in total; to resist lateral shift. A Metpost steel socketed solution would provide an upgrade if desired at the greater cost of £40 (£10 per post socket), these are also available on our website.
