An assurance from the manufacturer that their timber product, if maintained according to their policy, will resist rot within a 10 year period.
Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Pressure Treatment
Wood is placed into an airtight tank, by vacuum the air is replaced with preservative. This superior process extends lifespan allowing in-ground use.
Trellis
An open cladding formed from timber rails or battens fixed to one another, in a spaced diagonal or square arrangement. Ideal for decorative purposes.
Description
The Zest Daria Arch is a gently curve-topped pergola style arch with shaped rafters. The sides are clad with diamond trellis suitable to support climbing plants.
This arch is 1.8m wide with an internal width of approx 1.4m but the width of the arch can be adjusted slightly to suit your garden.

Quite a substantial structure and appears to be well made. However, the laminate pair of arches, which were to fit into the four vertical posts, were too wide. This measurement was over 5mm and demonstrated a lack of quality checks in a fundamentally simple structure, so in other words the cut mortises weren’t machined wide enough. Regrettably, I split one of the mortised on the post. It made the job a struggle, as I didn’t anticipate or expect to have to make adjustments, without having my tools with me. Quite disappointing for an otherwise decent structure, and wasted a good hour of my time. Therefore two stars. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Apologies for the mortice-tolerance error experienced, we will naturally share your feedback with Zest. You do not appear to have previously reported these concerns to us (on fitting), as we would have welcomed the opportunity to supply free-of-charge replacements at the time to resolve accordingly.)

This is a sturdy but good looking arch; we are very pleased with it. I found the suggested pilot hole sizes too small and increased them by 0.5mm. I managed the actual assembly on my own but needed assistance to position the arch and make sure that everything was level and upright. It would be good if the arch were offered in a colour other than natural but I suppose this would increase the price. Delivery was prompt and the price competitive. All in all a very satisfied customer.

In addition the final assembly of the three major components needed some additional carpentry to make them fit together. A wardrobe is much easier to put together! As the Daria has relatively few parts, the installation process by its nature is straightforward, hence the instructions need only be brief to reflect this; to avoid over complication of a simple structure. No "carpentry" should have been necessary as the components have minimal jointing, thus further detail would be most welcome for sharing with the manufacturer, Zest.)

Arch arrived on time, and was as expected, well packed. Putting together is ok. There are a couple of things you need to be aware of especially putting the side trellis on. In fairness the instructions do warn you of that. Getting the ground fixings in the right place is paramount, measure twice and once more to be sure, otherwise the legs won't fit or the arch will be off line. The quality of the product is very good, no sharp edges, and plenty of screws and fixings. It is definitely a two man job to line it up. Very pleased with it, have now planted climbers both sides so looking forward to next spring.
